The White Lion is a wonderful, traditional country pub, known for our fantastic service and brilliant cask ale beers.

We are close to several countryside walks and we’re also on the Beer Walk trail so if you’ve been out and about all day, you can always call in and see us here at the White Lion for a nice refreshing pint. Why not try one of our refreshing Thwaites beers? You can kick back and relax in our quaint beer garden or cosy up to the fire in the colder months. With an extensive home-made food menu, there is something for everyone to enjoy. You can also bring along the four-legged members of the family.
